When people say that opposites attract, they weren’t kidding. It all began 5,346 miles away… That’s the distance between Buffalo and Magnitogorsk. Yep – we’re literally from opposite ends of the Earth!

We met in August of 2022. As Lena will tell you, it was the huskies that first drew her to Michael. A couple of good dates and a car accident later (NOT OUR FAULT!), we knew that – for a lot of reasons we’ll never fully understand – God brought us together: for each other, for ourselves, and for our two wonderful huskies.

We have experienced so much since meeting, since dating, since engagement – it’s hard (if not impossible) for us to even imagine a life without the other at this point. We love to share our joy & energy with others, and so we hope that you will join us as we confirm our union before God and celebrate what an awesome series of events it took to bring two people – from opposite ends of the Earth – together as [future] husband & wife.
